ECOLOGICAL TRANSITION FOCUS: “AGRIVOLTAICS” AND “GREEN ROOFS”
Azienda Speciale Centro Italia, in collaboration with the Order of Agronomists and Foresters of Viterbo (ODAF), the University of Tuscia and with the support of the Chamber of Commerce of Rieti Viterbo, is organizing two free online webinars on April 8 and 29, 2025, dedicated to the themes “Agrivoltaics” and “Green Roofs.”
Both sessions will feature Professor Andrea Colantoni from the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Soil Sciences, University of Tuscia, and will be opened by Giancarlo Cipriano (General Director), Stefano Gasbarra (Operations Director), and Luigi Pagliaro (Head of the Digital Enterprise Point of Rieti Viterbo).
The first webinar, “Agrivoltaics: state of the art, advantages and disadvantages” (April 8, 15:00–16:30), will explore how agrivoltaic systems balance solar energy production with agricultural land use, analyzing both opportunities and potential challenges.
The second webinar, “Green Roofs: a resource for environmental sustainability” (April 29, 15:00–16:30), will highlight the environmental and economic benefits of green roofs, supported by existing Italian policies and incentives.
The webinars are organized within the framework of the LIFE COMANAGE and Erasmus+ GREENO2 Projects, promoting innovation and sustainability in the context of ecological transition.
Participation is accredited by ODAF Viterbo (Italy) for professional development (0.19 CF per seminar).
