GREENO2 PRESENTED AT ATTICA GREEN EXPO 2025 IN ATHENS 28-31/05/2025

The Erasmus+ GREENO2 project – “Green Roofs in Higher Education Institutions as Sustainable Centers for Research, Participation, Environmental Awareness and O2 Generation” was presented at the Attica Green Expo 2025 by representatives of XENIOS POLIS and GRIPEN EUROPE.

Held from 28 to 31 May 2025 at the Olympic Tae Kwon Do Center in Palaio Faliro, Athens, Greece the exhibition brought together organizations, businesses, public institutions and other stakeholders working on environmental protection and sustainable development.

During their participation, representatives of XENIOS POLIS and GRIPEN EUROPE presented the GREENO2 project and its objectives, with a particular focus on promoting green roofs in higher education institutions as innovative solutions for environmental awareness, participation and sustainable urban development. The project also provided an opportunity to explore potential partnerships and identify opportunities for collaboration with other organizations committed to reducing CO2 emissions and advancing sustainability.

The exhibition offered a valuable opportunity to engage with a wide range of stakeholders and explore innovative environmental technologies and solutions, including advanced recycling systems, renewable energy technologies and other approaches supporting the transition towards a greener and more sustainable economy.

Attica Green Expo aims to strengthen connections between citizens and stakeholders from the public and private sectors working in areas such as green energy, the circular economy, sustainable mobility, environmentally friendly construction and related fields.

The participation of GREENO2 partners in the exhibition contributed to the project’s dissemination and networking activities, while strengthening dialogue with organizations and stakeholders interested in practical solutions for environmental sustainability and climate action.
