The contest is aimed at students from the GREENO2 project’s partner universities and is dedicated to developing innovative solutions for rainwater collection and management using the green roof of a gazebo, in conjunction with a small bio-lake to be built in Rome’s Monte Ciocci Park.

Participants are invited to propose creative an sustainable ideas that allow for:

• Collect and reuse rainwater from the gazebo roof,

• feed and maintain the ecological balance of the bio-lake,

• encourage oxygen generation and biodiversity,

• transform the gazebo into a space for dialogue, research, and outdoor learning.

Contributions may be submitted in the form of:
• Short videos (15–30 seconds),
• design concepts, sketches, or graphic designs,
• innovative ideas accompanied by a brief description.

The contest represents a concrete opportunity to contribute to the creation of an integrated green roof, water harvesting, and biolake system, demonstrating how Nature-Based Solutions can improve urban resilience and quality of life. The best proposals will be showcased at a public event in the future green gazebo, offering participants the opportunity to present their ideas to citizens, experts, and stakeholders.
