“Green Roofs in higher education institutions as sustainable cEnters for research, participation, ENvironmental consciousness and O2 generation” (GREENO2) Project has presented by Prof. Andrea Colantoni during the III International Staff Training Week that was held at the University of Tuscia, 6-10 May, 2024.
The event gathered large academic community from different universities of Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Nepal, Ucraina, Uzbekistan, Romania, Spain and Turkey.
Prof. Andrea Colantoni introduced the participants to the main directions and key objectives of the GREENO2 Project. He eemphasized the importance of development of green roofs in academic institutions as an educational tool.
Ecological approaches to urban planning, sustainable design and encouragement to preserve the environment will be among the main issues covered by a new study course created in the frame of the GREENO2.
