December 13, 2024 join us for an exciting Info Day dedicated to Erasmus+ GREENO2 Project, where sustainable innovation takes center stage! Hosted by the University of Social and Media Culture in Toruń (Poland), this event offers an excellent opportunity to explore groundbreaking ideas and solutions that address urban challenges and promote green spaces.
The day begins with a Polish-language session featuring esteemed speakers such as Krystian Chołaszczyński, PhD, presenting the GREENO2 project and its partners, and Katarzyna Szyszko-Podgórska, Doctor of Engineering, discussing how green roofs can combat urban challenges. Experts will delve into topics ranging from air pollution in Polish cities to the European Union’s New Green Deal, offering diverse perspectives on adapting urban landscapes to climate change.
The English-language session starts at 11:30 and includes international experts such as Prof. Andrea Colantoni from the University of Tuscia – Erasmus+ GRENO2 Project coordinator, who will showcase the state of art of the Green Roof Prototype for Higher Education Institutions. Giorgio Scavino of ANCI Lazio will explore Nature-Based Solutions through insights from the URWAN Project and MyM0De innovation, while Virna Mastrangelo, an architect, and Katerina Charokopou will share inspiring approaches in landscape architecture and cultural tourism.
